Tsujimura Kai was born in Nara, Japan, in 1976. After graduating from high school in 1994, he apprenticed with his father, the renowned ceramic artist Tsujimura Shirô. In 2001, he built his first kiln and began working as a ceramicist. Since 2002, Tsujimura Kai's work has been featured in numerous exhibitions.
