1970                 
Born in Tsuyama, prefecture Okayama, growing up in Tokyo, Japan.
Early encounter with art in the workshop of her father, the sculptor Toshio Sakurai. 

 
1999                  
Moved to Heusden,The Netherlands.
Began to work as an assistant of the Dutch artist, Rene Rietmeyer.


2002                  
American crossing trip from Miami to Los Angeles, after this began to start as an independent artist.
Established own studio in Miami, USA.

2003                
Participated in the project “Personal Structures”.
 
2009-2010       
From May 2009 through January 2010, lived in Murano-Venice, Italy.

2010                
Moved to Paris, France.
Established own studio in Paris, France.

2014  
Moved stuio and apartment to Montrouge, France.

2016
Return to Japan and moved to birth place Tsuyama, prefecture Okayama, Japan.
Lives and works in Tsuyama, prefecture Okayama, Japan since April 2016.
