On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Shozo Michikawa as a ceramic artist we are presenting new works.
Lecture and ceramic demonstration at the Museum for Applied Arts, Frankfurt
In the forefront of the exhibition Shozo Michikawa will hold a lecture and ceramic demonstration at the Museum for Applied Arts in Frankfurt. The lecture and demonstration will be in English. Introduction by Dr. Nora von Achenbach in German language. The event will take place on Friday, October 12th, 2018 at 5pm. Venue: Conference room on the basement floor of the Museum for Applied Arts, Schaumainkai 17, 60594 Frankfurt. The event is a cooperation between the Museum for Applied Arts Frankfurt and the Japan Art Gallery, Frankfurt. 10 Euros attendance fee.

Bavarian State prize and book release
2018 Shozo Michikawas ceramics were awarded the Bavarian State Prize.
2017 the book “Shozo Michikawa. Ceramic Art“ was released by Arnoldsche Art Publishers.
